Samhita-Siddhanta and Sanskrit  Department –

Ayurveda is an ancient science of Indigenous medicine, it is special in esteem that it is not only a healing science but an Art of Living in Human being.

This is the first and the utmost department of Ayurveda, also known as Basic Principles. This department is concerned with basic principles of Ayurveda which are mentioned in ancient sages i.e. Ayurveda Samhitas.

In huge campus of SMIAS, Dept. Of Samhita Siddhant is established in Block- C. here we have separate chambers and huge library for all the faculty members of the department.

Samhitas are in Sanskrit language which is a divine linguistic, hence to comprehend and analyses the Samhita in their true meanings. Sanskrit education is mandatory in this department along with Samhitas (classical texts) in detail.
